Meet Our Coaches
Michaela Hatch
Club Director
Head Coach-Girls Club and Women’s Club
Michaela has been playing volleyball for over 20 years and on her 7th year of coaching. She was a state finalist with her high school team, played for Boston University, and has led four amateur women’s teams to USAV Open Nationals, including a second place finish in Columbus, OH this past summer! Michaela has experience playing outside hitter, defensive specialist, opposite and setter. Her experience includes coaching recreation, club, high school, collegiate classes, officiating, tournament directing and now running her own volleyball club! In her off-court time, Michaela is a mother of two and a scientist in pharmaceutical development. Her coaching style focuses on empowering athletes to find their motivation and simplifying the game to strong technical habits. Michaela is looking forward to working with returning and new athletes in our community this season!
Dominika Shoaf
Assistant Club Director
Head Coach- Girls Club and Recreation
Dominika has a passionate love for volleyball and encourages her girls to be confident and to give 100% every time they are on the court. She is excited to start her fifth season at Radiate. She made the Varsity volleyball team as a freshman in high school, during which she earned a third place ranking in blocking in Indiana. She went on to play for Capital University and then began her coaching career with a focus in developing skills for the 14s/15s age groups. She previously coached the Olympus freshman team for two years and is now coaching at Cottonwood High with Coach Hatch.
McKenna Shuler
Assistant Club Director
Head Coach- Ascend Transition League
McKenna is entering her fourth season with Radiate Volleyball and is the manager for our Ascend Transition League, and one of our early club specialists. Mckenna has a deep love for all sports, and spend most of her childhood playing soccer, wake surfing and snowboarding. She discovered volleyball in college and has worked hard to become a fantastic libero. Mckenna’s more recent volleyball journey has helped many kids starting out in volleyball find a deep love of the game. She specializes in getting athletes to understand the “Why” of the game and to recognize how fun volleyball is!
Mary Beattie
Head Coach- Girls Club
Mary is entering her fourth season as a coach for Radiate! Mary was born and raised in Salt Lake, where she played many sports, but volleyball is her favorite! She was on the varsity team starting as a sophomore in high school. She loves to play outside hitter but will jump into any position for a chance to play.
Mary believes that there is celebration to be had in the journey of learning volleyball, and that consistent effort over time brings the most success.
Katie Lasak
Head Coach- Girls Club
Katie is entering her third season coaching with Radiate. A New York native, she began her volleyball journey at the age of 13, playing throughout high school, club, college, and various adult rec leagues as both a setter and libero. Previously she coached for No Limits Volleyball Club out of Denver from 2016-2018. Katie moved to Utah in 2021 with her husband Paul, scruffy dog Maya, and fat cat Adobe. She also coaches at Cottonwood High School for the Junior Varsity team. She loves witnessing the positive impact sport can have on developing young athletes in their skills and as people. When she isn’t playing volleyball you can find her out in the mountains skiing, running, biking, hiking, and taking lots of photos.
Colleen McTier
Head Coach-Girls Club
This is Colleen’s second year with Radiate Volleyball as a coach. Originally from Phoenix, AZ, Colleen is an incredible libero who also plays on our Women’s Club team! Her team recently took second place at USAV Open Nationals in 2024. Colleen has a strong mental and competitive mindset, and has been a great mentor for our athletes, helping them channel their focus and delivery in matches. She is excited to guide the 16-Gold team this year in their technical and mental growth!
Siramanee Ruchupanai

Morgan Hill
Head Coach- Boys Club
Coach Morgan is from Florida and brings more than 20 years of playing experience and 12 seasons of coaching experience, including time as an assistant coach at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. As a player, she was a FHSAA State 6A runner-up in high school, played at Pasco Hernando Community College where they were NJCAA Division II National Champions, and then finished her college career at Armstrong State. During her time at Armstrong, she earned multiple individual awards in the Peach Belt conference, including Defensive Specialist of the Week, Co-Defensive Specialist of the Year, Conference Tournament Champions and All-Tournament Team. WOW!
Morgan has a strong eye for technical feedback and adjustment, and is looking forward to helping athletes at Radiate make the individual improvements that take their game to the next level.
