Meet Our Coaches

Michaela Hatch

Club Director
Head Coach-Girls Club and Women’s Club

Michaela has been playing volleyball for 20 years. She was a state finalist with her high school team, played for Boston University, and has led three amateur women’s teams to USAV Open Nationals. Michaela has experience playing outside hitter, defensive specialist, opposite and setter. Her experience includes coaching recreation, club, high school, collegiate classes, officiating, tournament directing and now running her own volleyball club! In her off-court time, Michaela is a mother of two and a scientist in pharmaceutical development. Her coaching style focuses on empowering athletes to find their motivation and simplifying the game to strong technical habits. Michaela is looking forward to working with returning and new athletes in our community this season!

Dominika Shoaf

Assistant Club Director
Head Coach- Girls Club and Recreation

Dominika has a passionate love for volleyball and encourages her girls to be confident and to give 100% every time they are on the court. She is excited to start her fourth season at Radiate. She made the Varsity volleyball team as a freshman in high school, during which she earned a third place ranking in blocking in Indiana. She went on to play for Capital University and then began her coaching career with a focus in developing skills for the 14s/15s age groups. She previously coached the Olympus freshman team for two years and is now coaching at Cottonwood High with Coach Hatch.

Jackie Evans

Head Coach- Ascend Transition League

Jackie started playing volleyball at 14 and hasn’t stopped since. In high school she played middle blocker for Brighton and ultimately earned a scholarship to Westminster where she named to the All-Freshman team. Since college, she has played in numerous women’s and co-ed leagues, including as a member of our Radiate Women’s BB team, and has coached and officiated on-and-off over the years while raising her three boys. As a tried-and-true middle blocker, Jackie specializes in hitting and blocking as well as overall court awareness and positioning. We love her positivity and enthusiasm for the game!

Haley Hodges

Head Coach- Girls Club

Coach Haley has been coaching volleyball since 2006 and has coached various ages from 12U to community college. 

She grew up in California where she was the starting varsity setter for 3 years and a quarter finalist in beach volleyball at the Junior Olympics in 2005. Due to injury, coach Haley did not continue to play at the collegiate level.

However her true passion fell within coaching where she has been able to help other athletes find their love of volleyball and reach their goals of playing collegiate volleyball. Shortly after graduating high school, she took over the Junior Varsity and Freshman programs at Agoura High School and coached U14 and U15 club teams in California.  

Coach Haley currently resides in Draper, Utah with her husband and two sons and is the 7th grade volleyball coach at The Waterford School.

Brooklynn Fairbanks

Head Coach- Girls Club

Brooklynn is super excited to be coaching her first season of club after completing two seasons as a recreation coach and assistant club coach at Radiate. Brooklynn trained as an outside hitter in high school but loves to jump on the court no matter the position. Brooklynn played as an athlete for Radiate for two seasons and loves playing volleyball with her friends and older sister who also works at Radiate. Brooklynn fully embodies the Radiate spirit and wants to share that same positivity and confidence with others through coaching. Its easy to see the infectious energy Brooklynn brings to her teams. She is super excited for this season and seasons to come!
